About me
Exams are rough!
But despite the distaste, they are an inevitable part of becoming a veterinarian, and progressing your career with advanced qualifications.
Do you feel overwhelmed by the overload of information you need to memorise? Worried your current study methods are ineffective and struggling with time management to fit everything in? Do you feel you are not smart enough to pass, or get anxious and not perform during the exam? Perhaps you procrastinate too much, lack motivation, or are fatigued before your study time starts? Maybe you want someone to confidentially discuss these concerns with?
I want to use my experience of exams, to give you solutions to your study problems, to ensure you can pass as easily as possible on the first attempt.
I’m James, and I am confident I can help you to pass your examination.
I’m one of the few vets who has taken Specialty College Board examinations in more than one subject. Candidates typically take months off work to solely study for these exams as they are undoubtedly the hardest clinical exams a veterinarian can undertake. I spent hours learning how to maximise my ability to pass exams, and gained so much experience from going through the process. I have also sat exams for Advanced Veterinary Practitioner status, as well as my undergraduate vet school exams. I have done exams with essays, short questions, MCQs, in person oral, online oral, being tracked by remote software… so I can share my experience with you as I have personally been through it.
Every resident I have trained that has sat the Board examination has passed. I’ve provided some tips and tricks to them. And now want share those strategies with you. I want you to get through your exams as efficiently as possible, so you can focus your attention on being a vet and helping animals.
